Spotify Audiobook Charts: Where to Find Trending Books

Spotify's audiobook charts show popular titles overall and by genre, using listening activity and engagement on the platform. They update weekly, giving you a starting point when you want a new book rather than a personalized recommendation.

Spotify introduced the charts in the United States and United Kingdom on February 27, 2026, for both Free and Premium users. The launch announcement does not establish worldwide availability.

How to find the audiobook charts

1. Open the Spotify app and tap Search.
2. Select the Audiobooks tile to open the audiobook hub.
3. Scroll to the Dive deeper section and open the charts.
4. Browse the overall ranking or choose a genre, then open a title to inspect its description, narrator, and listening options.

If the chart is missing, update the app and check whether the feature is available for your account's market. Seeing audiobooks in search does not necessarily mean the chart feature is available there.

What a chart position tells you

The ranking reflects activity on Spotify. It is not a sales chart for the entire publishing industry, a review score, or a guarantee that the book will suit your taste. Genre charts can be more useful than the overall list when you already know what type of story you want.

Chart positions change, so a screenshot or an older list should not be treated as the current ranking. Open the live chart to see the latest order.

Chart access and listening access are different

A Free account can browse an available chart, but that does not make every audiobook free to play. Check the title's access label and your account's plan before starting.

Eligible Premium plans include a monthly audiobook listening allowance. For Family and Duo, the allowance included in the base plan is for the plan manager; it is not automatically shared with every member. Catalogs and listening options vary by country.
