The Spotify audiobook rankings show which books are trending.
Spotify is rolling out audiobook rankings, giving listeners a way to discover trending content. These rankings are updated weekly, highlighting the most popular audiobooks overall and by genre based on listening activity and engagement on the platform.
This new ranking is now available to both free and Spotify Premium users through the audiobook center. To access it, users can tap the search button, select Audiobooks, and scroll down to the Dive deeper section. Spotify says this ranking aims to make it easier for users to find popular titles, while also providing authors and publishers with a new channel to reach readers.
Spotify first launched audiobooks in 2022, aiming to make the app a central hub for all types of audiobook content, alongside music and podcasts. The company has since added several features to improve the audiobook listening experience.
This is the latest step in Spotify's ongoing investment in audiobooks, following groundbreaking features like Page Match , which lets you synchronize your reading position between print or ebook versions and audiobooks, and Recaps, short audio summaries designed to help you catch up on parts of an audiobook you've listened to.
