Today, almost all of Apple's services are available on many different platforms, not just iOS or macOS. And even if there are no native apps on the system, there are always web-based versions that give you access to popular services like Apple Music, Apple TV, iCloud, etc. Recently, another Apple also has a web version after a long wait, which is Podcasts.

Accordingly, Apple's podcast platform is now accessible through supported browsers. If you're using a Chromium-based browser (Edge, Vivaldi, Chrome, etc.), Firefox, or Safari, you can go to podcasts.apple.com and browse your favorite shows. Interestingly, Apple does not require signing in with an Apple ID to access the service, meaning users can freely explore Podcasts without signing in.

Of course, if you want more features from Apple Podcasts on the web, you'll need to sign in or create your own Apple ID account (porn content will also require a sign-in). Once logged in, the app lets you subscribe to shows, browse your library, view notes, check your queue, and more, all similar to the Apple Music web app. You can even subscribe to paid podcasts and shows.

However, there will be some features that will still only be available in standalone apps. For example, Apple Podcasts on the Web doesn't let you read transcripts—this feature is only available with the Podcasts app on iOS 17.4 or iPadOS 17.4 or later.

With the launch of Apple Podcasts on the Web, Windows users can finally access the service and get the most out of it. Until now, the only way to listen to Apple Podcasts on Windows was through iTunes, and let's be honest, it's not everyone's favorite app. In contrast, Apple Music and Apple TV have completely native apps for Windows 11.
