Apple is about to launch 3 Macs using its own chip
Bloomberg reported that Apple is planning to bring its own refiners into at least three new Macs later this year.
There are no details on these chips yet, but according to the source, they will appear in Apple's new laptops and desktops.
Although I've been tweaking chips for use on my phones, tablets and other wearable devices for years, this is the first time APple has used home-grown chips on a Mac.
This started in 2016 with the Touch Bar on the MacBook Pro, which has a chip used to run Touch Bar and Touch ID. Last month, Apple also used its own chip in the Mac Pro to process images, audio and encryption.

A future of Macs using the full Apple chips is approaching
Apple uses more of its own chips, meaning that the future of the Mac will also change dramatically. They will not have to wait for other companies if they want to improve something and Apple can also integrate hardware - software more closely.
Most importantly, it seems that Apple is gradually using its own chip for every Mac.
With the iPhone and iPad, Apple has shown they can create microprocessors that outperform their rivals. However, there are still many obstacles if Apple wants to switch to using its entire chip instead of Intel chips on current Macs.
Comprehensive change will not happen soon. But when Apple-made chips are used more and more on the Mac, the future is getting closer.
