Adobe stopped supporting its new software versions on Windows 7
It is well known that Microsoft will stop issuing security patches or updates to its 9-year-old Windows 7 operating system.Microsoft still encourages users to upgrade to Windows 10 for better security.
When Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7, it was no surprise that software developers, including Adobe, stopped supporting their software on the old OS.
Recently Adobe decided to stop Creative Cloud Support on Windows 7. They will stop supporting their software on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and some old versions of Windows 10 like v1511 or v1607.
This is a wise decision because for developers, Windows 10 is obviously better than Windows 7, advanced features are also available to users.Adobe is looking to take advantage of the hardware requirements that Windows 10 devices require to give users the best experience of using their software.
Adobe Creative Cloud stopped supporting on the old OS
'The focus on newer Windows and Mac operating systems allows us to focus on developing features that are required by many, while leveraging the device's modern hardware.Visit the website for detailed information about the system requirements of the current Creative Cloud, 'Adobe said.
Adobe also informed users that it is conducting internal testing of a new update for Adobe Creative Cloud. You will be able to use new features if you run the latest version of Windows 10 from Microsoft.
Anyone using Creative Cloud on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 v1511 and v1607 can still install and run previous versions of Creative Cloud.Adobe has not said when it will officially launch an update, but users may not have to wait any longer.
If Windows 7 users want to get new updates of Creative Cloud, they should upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10.However, Adobe will continue to support older tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and other software on the old operating system.
