What is Adobe Portfolio?
Adobe Portfolio is a website building service. It is one of Adobe's many online platforms designed to help advertisers grow their online presence and gain inspiration. Behance is another feature you should consider when signing up.
Using Adobe Portfolio is free, as long as you're subscribed to the Creative Cloud plan. Rates will depend on the subscription you choose; you can choose to use all of Adobe's apps for $39.99 per month, or if you want to save money, choose an individual app or the Photography Plan.
What can you do with Adobe Portfolio?
Now let's continue to see what you can do with this tool. Here are 3 ways you can use Adobe Portfolio to your benefit.
1. Build a complete website
If you want to build a complete website with as little manual work as possible, Adobe Portfolio is one of the best options for you. With this solution, you can develop different portfolio pages that highlight your favorite projects, along with linking to any external sites you may have.
With Adobe Portfolio, you can also add a simple contact page and create subsite collections to make it easier for others to navigate your site.
It's worth noting that Adobe Portfolio will give you a default '.myportfolio.com' domain. However, if you want to make your website look more professional, you can buy a domain.
Go to Settings > Domain Name > Purchase a domain to do this. Alternatively, if you already have a domain, you can choose Connect your domain and follow the instructions.
2. Create a simple welcome page
How You Can Create a Welcome Page with Adobe Portfolio
If you are in the early stages of developing your online website as an artist, building a complete website can be a bit daunting. In some cases, you may choose not to take action because you feel you have too much to do.
If you're not sure where to start, it's best to create a simple landing page. Adobe Portfolio allows you to do this without any problems; When you create your website, click the Welcome Page tab and scroll down to select your favorite theme.
With your welcome page, you can briefly introduce yourself and add a photo, along with your social media links. From here, you can build your website when you feel ready.
3. Portfolio integration with other Adobe products
One of the most frustrating things about creating a website is that it can take a long time to import and upload your content. Thankfully, Adobe has eased this hurdle with Portfolio.
When you create websites with Adobe Portfolio, you can use the platform in conjunction with a number of other Adobe products. For example, you can import albums from Lightroom and integrate Behance as well. If you use Adobe Stock, you can also integrate it with your profile.
To do the above, click the Integrations tab. To use Portfolio with Behance, turn on the toggle at the top. And if you want to import albums from Lightroom, click Add Albums instead.
