Acer launched a new ultraportable laptop
Acer has just introduced the 12.1-inch Aspire 2920 ultra-portable (UMPC) laptop that sells for $ 930 (integrated Linux) to $ 1017 (Vista Home Premium).
Aspire 2920 is part of the Gemstone series of laptops, with a ceramic case. The new model supports two independent monitors, so users can use both Linux and Vista Home Preminum on the same system.
Aspire 2920 integrates Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 mobile chip, GM965 Express mobile chipset, and Wireless WiFi Link wireless solution. It also comes with 12.1-inch CrystalBrite TFT WXGA LCD screen, 160GB hard drive, 2GB RAM, Webcam, DVD burner, and battery life of about 3 ưỡi hours. With Acer's ePowerManagement, users can choose the optimal properties to extend battery life.
The new Acer UMPC model is also equipped with a variety of other technologies, such as SignalUp and GridVista - for wireless connectivity; Acer CrystalBrite - increase screen brightness; and Dolby Certified Sound System 7.1 surround sound system. The connectivity options of the Aspire 2920 include Gigabit LAN, WLAN, and Bluetooth.
