Asus introduced a new version of the Eee PC mini laptop
At the 2008 CeBit Exhibition, which is taking place in Germany, Asus has introduced a new version of the Eee PC mini laptop - which integrates a larger screen and more storage capacity.
The 9-inch Eee PC laptop introduced at CeBit 2008 is expected to be available around the middle of this year for $ 606 for an integrated 12GB SSD. Asus also has another Eee PC version, but with a lower SSD capacity - 8GB.
Asus introduced a new version of the Eee PC mini laptop Picture 1 The Eee PC 900 is equipped with a 9-inch screen, 2-inches larger than previous versions. The screen of the device has a higher resolution - 1,024x600, compared to 800 x 480 of the 7-inch version.
Asus claims that increasing the screen size of the Eee PC 900 does not affect the battery life of the device (an average of 2.5-3 hours).
The Eee PC 900 is equipped with 1GB of RAM and a 12GB SSD hard drive.
