Ultrabook Aspire S3, S7 allows ordering
Aspire S7 is priced from 700 USD with Sandy Bridge chip, RAM 4 GB hybrid hard drive.
Like many other computer companies, Acer has also recently begun to allow buyers to order their recently released PC products. Specifically, Acer has just received an order for 2 models of ultrabook running Win 8 as Aspire S3 and S7 with a starting price of 700 USD. 2 machines will be officially released on October 26.
Acer Aspire S3 is the ultrabook of Acer's low-end model, priced at just $ 700. Machine uses Intel Core i3-2377M chip (Sandy Bridge), integrated graphics, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD and 20 GB SSD. Aspire S3 weighs 1.36 kg and measures 32 x 21.5 x 1.7 cm.
The new Aspire S7 from Acer is designed for Windows 8 and uses Ivy Bridge processor, multi-touch screen, SSD for high performance. The price of the product is 1199 USD for the 11.6-inch screen model. However, currently only 13 inch model is for sale for $ 1400. 13-inch version uses Core i5 chip, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution screen, 128GB SSD, 4 GB RAM. There is a Core i7 model, 256 GB SSD sold for $ 1650.
The 13-inch version weighs 1.31 kg and measures 32 x 22.3 x 1.19 cm. S7 provides basic connectivity including 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI. Besides the touch screen, the trackpad of the device also supports multi-point. Acer said the pincuar S7 time is 6 hours.
