Since appearing on the market Aspire One is known as the affordable product line of Acer. But users can still own Acer laptops with $ 329 if they choose the Linux version instead of Windows XP.
The laptop's design includes a 9-inch LCD screen, a central processor, Intel's new Atom chip. However, there has been quite a lot of criticism about 512MB of RAM and the average new battery life is the point of reducing the impression of this system configuration.
Under the discount program, the manufacturer also launched more diverse configurations of a competitive product line between the start-up of low-cost computers. Aspire One's new pricing and configuration is as follows:
- Intel Atom / Linux / 512MB RAM / 8GB SSD / 3-cell battery costs 329USD.
- Intel Atom / Windows XP / 1GB RAM / 80GB HDD / 3-cell battery costs 349 USD.
- Intel Atom / Windows XP / 1GB RAM / 160GB HDD / 6-cell battery costs $ 399.
