Virtual Assistant Google Assistant was able to directly translate 27 languages, including Vietnamese

At CES 2019, Google introduced new features and technologies equipped for Google Assistant, capable of turning this tool into a translator that can translate directly into 27 languages.

Even Google Assistant can automatically identify the language users use if it is in supported languages. Because Google Assistant cannot translate when two people talk directly to each other, users will have to say every sentence to the microphone of the device.

Vietnamese is also one of the languages ​​Google Assistant supports. This means that with Google Assistant, we can use Vietnamese to communicate in most countries around the world. Of course, Google Assistant is still just a translation tool, so quality can't be equal to people.

Earlier in November 2017, Google also introduced a translation feature for the Pixel Buds headset that provides the ability to translate directly when speaking into headphones. Then, this feature has been integrated into all types of Google Assistant headsets.

According to The Verge, Google will be equipped with the first new translation feature for Google Home Hub devices. Over the next few months, this feature will be updated for devices that support Google Home from Lenovo, LG and JBL.
