Users can turn off tab sounds on Chrome
From now on, it is much easier to turn off Chrome's tab sounds than it used to be if you needed an add-on or extension. Indeed, in the latest version of Chrome , you just need to right-click on the tab you want to mute and press Mute Tab to turn off all the currently active sounds in that tab.
The information of the sound off feature directly on the tab appeared in February 2013, however, it was only available as a test feature on Chrome 32 in January 2014.
Meanwhile, other current browsers like Firefox have almost no features to support mute on the tab. Mozilla is considering adding similar functionality to Firefox 42 beta. Users can identify the tab that is playing sound through the speaker icon, and easily turn off the sound (the speaker icon will be crossed out) with just one click.
The latest Chrome 46 version has removed Ok Google voice support. This means that, Chrome browser will no longer support receiving voice commands. In addition, Chrome 46 has officially removed the Notification Center because there are too few users and most often bother users more.
