Google Chrome adds support for handling noisy websites
Perhaps you are used to using a web browser and being harassed by unexpected sounds coming from one of the tabs, usually with videos or ads playing in the background.
Google engineers are preparing for a new feature that can be very helpful to handle this problem. Like many other browsers, Chrome supports mute on a certain tab, but future versions will help certain websites to be "silent" forever.

Users can turn off tab sounds on Chrome
The new feature has been announced by Google's Francois Beaufort, even though it is still in beta. "This will give you more control over which websites are allowed to automatically play sounds," Beaufort said.
Silence is gold
The mute button appears on the information bar of the website, which is the icon on the left of the address bar on the browser (the i symbol or the blue lock, depending on the page).
The sudden sound of jumping will no longer be annoying with Chrome's new feature
This information board currently has options for empowering cameras, pop-up windows . and will soon have more options to mute. If you want to try it now, you can install the Canary test version of Chrome and use the switch button --enable-features = SoundContentSetting.
Whether you want noisy ads or social network channels, this new mute option will significantly improve your surfing experience. It is not known exactly when this new credit will appear on Chrome's Stable version, it will first have to win the developer on the Beta.
