Turn off YouTube ads, block YouTube ads, remove ads on YouTube.

Method 1: Use the Adblocks Plus app to turn off ads on YouTube.

If you are using the Google Chrome browser

Download and install the Adblock Plus add-on for YouTube on the Chrome browser.

Step 1: Search for Adblock Plus in the "Search the Store" section.

Step 2: Click "Free" in the Adblock Plus add-on.

A pop-up window opens --> Add to install the add-on for Chrome.

- If you are using the Firefox browser

Step 1: Download Adblock Plus for Firefox here.

Step 2: A pop-up window will appear; click Install to install this add-on. Wait about 5 seconds --> Install Now

Step 3: Activate one or all three available functions:

- Malware Blocking: Blocks malware that may infect your system during web browsing.
- Remove Social Media Buttons : Prevents others from tracking your web browsing, similar to disabling the Remove button on Facebook.
- Disable Tracking: Disables ads on websites. If you want to disable ads on YouTube, select the Disable Tracking

function by clicking to switch from Off to On .

Method 2:

Step 1 : Log in to your Gmail account  and access the YouTube website. Look at the top right and click on the account icon to access YouTube Settings (the gear icon).

Step 2 : In the new window that appears, click on Playback.

Step 3 : In the Playback interface, uncheck the box next to " Show annotations, channel promotions and interactive cards on videos" . Finally, click Save to save the settings. From now on, when watching videos on YouTube, you will no longer see annotations displayed on the screen.

With one of the two settings above, you can turn off annotations and ads that appear on YouTube videos. Now you can enjoy your videos without any problems.
