The open platform webOS 1.0 of HP was released

After announcing the conversion of webOS into an open platform like Android last year, today, HP has first introduced the official webOS to open version 1.0 in this direction.

Introduced by the model on the TouchSmart, webOS still shows that the interface is not much different from before. However, it seems that the configuration of the device is not commensurate with the screen resolution, making the transition steps not really smooth.

According to the manufacturer, webOS 1.0 version has its own browser core, the application views, sends and receives email, Enyo 2.0 framework and is qualified to turn into an open platform. However, HP needs more time to put into its open platform applications that support entertainment, Bluetooth, network connection management as well as page transfer speeds for smoother touch.

Previously, it was suggested that HP turning webOS into open source is like "death" it. The strong development of other platforms such as iOS or Android will make it difficult for HP to find the necessary hardware manufacturing partners. In addition, up to 9 months after the announcement of the first introduction video, many people believed that HP was not really interested in the plan.
