On Reddit, a member of Microsoft's Edge browser development team has confirmed that the new version based on Chromium may support all the extensions (extensions) available on Chrome.

Edge browser project manager Kyle Alden also confirmed this information during an interview last week: "We plan to support Chrome's current extensions." However, this is all just a plan, so this feature may not appear.
