Smartphone charging time will be halved
While other companies want to increase their ability to charge batteries with new materials, a young company, Qnovo, has decided to follow a different direction.
The company developed a software (called Qns) and a chip (QN200) to measure the charge, temperature, charging history, and battery status, then it determines the amount of power Optimal amount of load allowed on the machine.
According to Qnovo , their technology could reduce the charging time by 50%. Moreover, it will extend the life of the battery because the battery cells no longer have to receive higher energy levels than necessary.
New battery charging technology.
What's really interesting about Qnovo's technology is that their software can work independently on phones without a QN200 chip. However, the charging speed will not be impressive if only based on software, although it will still be faster than usual, and the battery is still fully optimized.
It is known that Qnovo is currently negotiating with several phone manufacturers - some of which need to equip both Qns software and QN200 chip but others are only looking to get Qns software. Anyway, this promises that these new battery charging technologies will soon be available on smartphones.
