Microsoft facilitates users to install Windows 10 S version
At the end of spring this year, Microsoft launched Windows 10 S operating system with the new product line, Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. Windows 10 S is Microsoft's next generation desktop operating system that can only run applications from the Windows Store. - Windows 10 Enterprise
So how to upgrade to Windows 10 S for free from standard versions?
Windows 10 S is described as the soul of Windows, meaning it is more secure and can resist attacks by virus-containing applications, because these software are checked and distributed only through Windows. Store
You can download the Windows Upgrade Assistant version specifically for Windows 10 S. Before installing it, you should note that this is not an upgrade of an end-to-end operating system.
Download Windows 10 S
Note: Only your personal files are retained.
Traditional PC applications and settings will be deleted. If you decide to go back to the previous version of Windows 10, there will be an option to get you back within 10 days. Remember to save your current settings by creating a backup of the system. This upgrade process is similar to Windows 10.
Users with qualified operating systems need to remember that this is not a trial version, so when your system is upgraded, it will still work by Windows 10 S, actually a version of Pro.
If you do not want to use Windows 10 S anymore and want to return to the old version, you can launch Store from Start> Settings> Update & Security> Go to Store , then you will be given the option to return to Windows 10 Pro for free. However, upgrading from Windows 10 S to Pro will only be available later this year.
Compatibility
If you manage a computer group in an educational environment, Windows 10 S will be quite appropriate. When combined with Microsoft management services such as Intune, system administrators can determine which applications are installed and locked on their devices. Large organizations will rely on Active Directory to authenticate and manage devices attached to Windows 10 Pro. For the time being, Windows 10 S only supports Azure Active Directory cloud-based.
Microsoft said it will not guarantee your system can run Windows 10 S successfully. The company advises users to check the manufacturer's website to find out if this version is supported. Remember, when you install an upgrade to Windows 10 S, you will not be able to run applications such as Google Chrome, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD or QuickBooks. Apple's iTunes software may appear later this year in the Windows Store. Windows 10 S is also suitable and safe for non-tech personal users. Hopefully Microsoft will expand Windows 10 Home support for interested users.
If you want to experience Windows 10 S from Microsoft, download and use immediately!
