Microsoft shared about the fate of Windows 10X as follows: "After a year of exploring and talking with customers, we realized that Windows 10X technology is useful in many different ways and can serve customers. more than we initially imagined, so we concluded that Windows 10X's technology should not be limited to a small group of customers.

Instead of bringing a product called Windows 10X to market in 2021 as originally planned, we'll leverage our journey's experiences so far and accelerate the integration of our key platform technology. 10X into other parts of Windows and other company products.

In fact, some of these are already reflected in the core of Windows in Windows Insider builds, such as the new app container technology we're integrating into products like Microsoft Defender Application Guard, Enhanced Voice Typing experience, modernized touch keyboard with optimized key sizes, sounds, colors and animations.

Our development teams will continue to invest in areas where 10X technology will meet customer needs. In addition, we will also evaluate the technology experience in both hardware and software to bring useful things to customers in the future."

The Windows 10X project was first revealed last year and is expected to be an operating system exclusively for multi-screen devices, folding screens.
