A number of antiques have been found in an ancient cemetery in the province of Gilan in northern Iran called Asb Risseh, the head of the excavation in the cemetery has just announced.
Majid Kouhi said these discovered objects include ceramic works dating back to the Sassanid period (224-651 AD) to the Parthian period (between 247 BC and 224 AD). as some other bronze objects were discovered, according to Mehr News Agency.
Not only that, Majid Kouhi also added to the collection of excavations of some extremely well preserved gray ceramic works.
Kouhi said the excavation in this ancient cemetery has a very important meaning so it is possible to determine the sequence of historical periods in this cemetery.
