Artifacts of stores and warehouses for thousands of years are found in Turkey

Accordingly, traces of two two-year-old stores and warehouses were excavated at a site in the ancient city of Aspendos, located in Serik district of Antalya province of Turkey.
Excavations in the area where traces of these ancient stores and warehouses were found excavated since 2008 with surface surveys, and then conducted excavation of intensive excavations starting from the year 2014.
Associate Professor Veli Köse from Haceteppe University, who oversees excavations, said he believes these valuable evidence have just been found in some ancient stores and warehouses. . He said.
Professor Köse also said that a series of Roman coins, a set of glass, oil, perfume bottles, candles, brass belt buckle, many fake nails, rings and gems were found in too excavation process at this location.
Köse said that the coins could be in the 5th century BC, which was widely used during the Greek period.
It is known that the ancient city of Aspendos is one of the most frequent destinations for tourists whenever visiting Antalya.
In addition, Aspendos has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015.
