A nearly 4,000-year-old Bronze dagger, suddenly found in the Slovak town of Hlohovec, according to media reports.
Accordingly, a graduate student named David found this antique at a barbecue party near the Vah River, flowing through the town of Trnava, news agency Xinhua reported.
Archaeologist Matus Sladok said: "This is a bronze blade, the symbol of power that not everyone can have in the old days."
This ancient dagger is still in good condition, 24.5 cm long and weighs 320 grams.
The upper part is carved with tree branches and the bottom has three holes for the blade to attach to the handle.
Many archaeological experts believe that this knife may belong to the Unetice culture, at the beginning of the Middle Eastern European era around 4,000 years ago. This culture is now mostly known from places in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
According to Sladok, the riverbank where the knife was found is probably not the first place it appears."It can float from somewhere to this place in the past in the past . "
So far, there are four ancient daggers found in Slovakia.
