Launching Vmap - Digital Map of Vietnam, showing details of each house number including remote areas

Today (October 1), Vmap, Vietnam's own digital map has been released. With 23.4 million address data across the country, this is the most detailed digital map developed by Vietnam, providing users with detailed addresses of each lane, niche, village and village.

Vmap digital map is in the project "Developing Vietnamese digital knowledge system", chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam Post Corporation (VNPOST) in conjunction with Hanoi National University, China. Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union built and implemented.

Unlike some other mapping and positioning platforms, Vmap digital maps display separate map layers, capable of displaying detailed addresses of each house number in both urban, mountainous and remote areas.

According to the developer, in order to create more than 23.4 million address data across the country, more than 120,000 postal workers and union members and youth went directly to each neighborhood, village . to collect information. news for 3 months.

Currently, Vmap is only available on the web, users can access the address below to access Vietnam digital map. Applications on smartphone operating systems will be released in the near future.

In addition to Vmap digital map, another project was introduced as iNhandao, chaired by Vietnam Red Cross. This project uses digital addresses from Vmap maps to build humanitarian address data to provide accurate information to donors, ensuring all sponsorship activities reach the right, transparent, clearly.
