Launching iOS 12.4.3 for iPhone 5s and iPhone 6, Apple has not abandoned the older device
In parallel with the iOS 13.2 update for newer devices, Apple has also recently released the iOS 12.4.3 update for older devices and does not support iOS 13 such as iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 / 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2/3 and iPod touch 6th generation.
Apple doesn't give specific information about iOS 12.4.3 changes, but it most likely fixes one or more security issues.
Users of older iPhone and iPad devices can go to Settings> General Settings> Software updates to download and install iOS 12.4.3.
Recently, Apple has continuously released iOS updates for devices that have expired. The previous update, iOS 12.4.2, was also released by Apple a week after the launch of iOS 13. Even devices like iPhone 4s or iPhone 5 were also updated by Apple to iOS 9.3.6 and iOS. 10.3.4 aims to fix a serious error related to GPS and system date and time.
