In the Windows operating system versions, Microsoft has always reserved 20% of the system's total bandwidth to use for other purposes such as Windows Update and user computer control. But you can completely remove this mode and use the entire bandwidth to speed up internet connection.

Users are often not recommended to disable this feature, but in case your Internet connection is too slow and do not use the Windows Update service, you can do this to free up bandwidth easily. Follow the instructions below (applicable to all Windows versions).

How to speed up the Internet to the network faster

Click Start > select Run and enter ' gpedit.msc ' (comfortable from Windows XP or above) to open the Local group policy editor window.

In the left part of the window, at Local Computer Policy, select Computer Configuration > select Administrative Templates > Network > QOS Packet Scheduler . Then in the right part, double-click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth .

By default this mode is set not configured but in fact Windows still retains 20% of the total bandwidth, you can edit this setting by selecting Enable , at Options > Bandwidth limit (%) you set to 0 .

This way your system will be using 100% bandwidth to connect to the internet.
