Currently, if you want to change the icon for each file as you wish, Windows does not support this. However, you can easily change it through Nirsoft with the completely free File Types Manager tool .

After downloading Nirsoft software , you just need to unzip it using the File Types Manager tool . The advantage of Nirsoft is that you don't need to install it and can still use it extremely effectively. 

When you double-click or select File Types Manager , you can choose the desired icon. Then, click Edit Selected File Type and then click the 3 dots in Default Icon to set the icon. Finally, you just need to click Ok to save the changed icon for each file type.
