How to Block Your Friends' Stories on Messenger

This updated guide explains how to block your friends' stories on messenger with clear steps, practical tips, and useful context. Messenger has a dedicated Stories section where you can follow everyone's stories in this interface. If you do not want to see someone's Story on Messenger, you can block their Messenger Story very quickly, without having to unfriend them.

How to Block Someone's Messenger Story

Step 1:

On the Messenger interface, users select the News section below. As a result, you will see your friends' Stories displayed, select the Story you want to block .

Step 2:

In the Messenger Story view interface, select the 3-dot icon in the right corner. Then the options below will appear, the user clicks on Turn off news below to block this person's Messenger Story.

You continue to block the Messenger Story of someone you want to not show their Story anymore.

How to Unblock Story Messenger

Step 1:

On the Messenger interface, users select the menu icon in the bottom right corner. Then select Settings to adjust.

Step 2:

Displaying the custom interface for the Messenger application, the user continues to select Privacy and safety . Next, you select Message control to perform.

Step 3:

Continue to tap the Stories you've turned off to view the list of blocked Messenger Stories. In the list, the Messenger Story of someone who is blocked is always displayed at the top .

To unblock Story Messenger , just uncheck and choose Apply to save.
