How to Transfer Themes from Windows 98
Do you have an old Windows 98 computer? Do you like the themes? Do you want to take the themes with you to your new computer? This article will show you how. Turn both computers on.
Method 1 of 3:
Windows XP Computer

Make a new folder. Name it anything. -
Right-click the folder and click the Sharing tab. -
Check the "Share this folder on the network" option. This allows the other computer to see the folder. -
Check the "Allow network users to change my files." This allows the other computer to edit the folder.
Method 2 of 3:
Windows 98 Computer
-
Navigate to C:Program FilesPlus!. Copy this directory. -
Open a new window and go to Network Neighborhood. -
If you have configured the other computer correctly, you should see the other computer's name. Click on it. -
Open the network folder that you made. -
Paste the Plus! Folder into the network folder.
Method 3 of 3:
Windows XP Computer

Go to My Computer. Click Shared Documents. -
You should see your folder. Open it. -
Click Plus!. -
Click Themes. -
The themes have an extension of ".theme". -
Click on the theme you would like to open up the display properties. -
Click apply to use the theme.
