2. How to fix a leaky screen at home
The ink leaking screen is just a minor error, it can be completely fixed without needing to replace a new screen like the screen stripe error. However, depending on the severity of the error, we can fix from 80% to 100%. If you can't fix it completely, the following methods can also help the ink stain fade and make it easier to see.
Prepare :
- Screen cleaning solution (alcohol, glass cleaner, or purified water.)
- Soft towels (fleece, cotton towels, screen cleaning towels, glass cleaning towels, lens cleaning towels.)
Making :
Step 1 : Adjust screen brightness to MAX.
Step 2 : Moisten the phone screen using screen cleaning solution and a previously prepared towel.
Step 3 : Wrap the prepared towel around your finger, then swipe the ink stain on the screen down to the nearest screen edge. Repeat 10 to 15 times, then the ink stains on the screen will disappear. For stubborn ink stains, you just need to do it several times and it will go away.
Note : When swiping the ink stain on the screen, you must place your finger about 0.5cm away from the ink stain.
Rules for swiping ink : Swipe ink to the edge of the screen, the closest edge is given priority. Swipe slowly and accurately, while swiping and pressing your finger firmly down on the screen to best push ink stains.
Step 4 : In case the screen has large ink stains that are difficult to remove, you need to be persistent and do it many times. Each time is about 30 seconds apart, you can do it multiple times a day because this action does not affect your overall screen.
