How to Change the Windows 10 Language
If you are a user who prefers one language over another, it may be a good time to change the language on Windows 10. This wikiHow will teach you how to do so. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Region & Language.
Method 1 of 2:
Through Settings
- Go to Settings > Time & Language > Region & Language.
- Click on + Add a Language.
- Choose the language you want to add.
- Click on the language, and click on Options, then click Download under Download Language Pack.
- Wait. The download usually takes a few seconds, but may take longer based off of internet speed.
- Click on the language, and click on Set as default. This will change the display language.
- Restart your computer. The display language will be noticeable after a restart.
Method 2 of 2:
Through Control Panel (Old Versions)
- Go to Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Language.
- Click on Add a language at the top.
- Choose the language you want to add.
- Click on Options by the language you want to add.
- Click on the button that says Install display language.
- Click on Make this the primary language.
- Restart your computer. The display language will be noticeable after a restart.
