How to block first-rate reviews of iPhone and iPad apps on iOS 11
On smartphone devices, there are many applications that require ratings, iPhone and iPad are no exception. Even if you have evaluated to stop receiving those annoying requests, but new or newly installed applications, you will receive a request again. IOS 11 tried to fix this problem, limiting how often applications send evaluation requests to users and allow to stop displaying the request permanently.
Applications can only request ratings up to 3 times per year
When upgrading to iOS 11, you will see lots of new changes and useful features. Applications must use Apple's standard way of requesting reviews, namely SKStoreReviewController API - a method of controlling the rating process. Apple will reject applications that use their own rating requirements. Each application can only request a rating of 3 times per year even if developers have updated the app, this limit will not change. This will help prevent applications that are annoying for users.
How to block apps that require ratings with iOS 11
Besides strict rules of evaluation, Apple also introduced a new setting in iOS 11 that allows blocking applications that send ranking requests. By default, the application is allowed to send requests to users, but you can turn it off if you wish.
To do that, you need to go to Settings> iTunes & App Store .
Scroll down until you see the In-App Ratings & Reviews option, then click the slider next to disable this feature.
Of course, if you want to leave an app review or rating for an app, you can go to the App Store to do it.
