How to create a mind map in NotebookLM
Step 1:
We need to prepare the materials we want to create a mind map from. For example, a YouTube video with educational content about Vietnamese History for 12th grade. Then, access NotebookLM, create a new file, and paste the source.
Step 2:
After NotebookLM has compiled the content, look to the side and click the arrow icon next to Mind Map to set it up.
Here, enter your requirements for how you want NotebookLM to create a mind map , then click Create below.
Step 3:
Wait a moment for NotebookLM to read the content, analyze it, and create the mind map. Once the result is ready, click on the diagram's name to view it .
Click the expand icon to view the full content of the mind map on NotebookLM.
Step 4:
Each branch has an icon to expand the content ; you can click on it to view the knowledge and information inside.
When you click on a piece of content in the diagram , NotebookLM will immediately display the detailed content next to it, with concise yet comprehensive information about the main points, making it easier for users to remember and read the information. At this point, you can enter requests to further process this content if needed.
