Guide to creating a survey in Instagram Stories

Instagram has now added features to create polls in Instagram Stories as a sticker. This poll creation feature allows you to ask questions and view poll results from friends and followers.

You are about to attend a friend's wedding, and don't know which dress is suitable, you can use the Instagram poll to ask your friends, followers and choose the best dress according to everyone's opinion.

With this feature, you can make important decisions more wisely. And like your story, it disappears with the results after 24 hours. Now follow these steps to create a survey in Instagram Stories.

How to create a poll in Instagram Stories on iPhone and iPad

Step 1 . Open the Instagram app, select the Home tab (house icon).

Step 2 . Click the camera icon in the top left corner or swipe from left to right to open the camera.

Step 3 . Next, take photos or record videos as usual. Click the shutter button to take a photo or touch and hold to record a short video. Touch the icon 2 small arrows to switch between front and rear cameras.

Or you can click the icon in the lower left corner to select the photos / videos you took in the last 24 hours from the Photo library.

Step 4 . Next, click on the Emoji icon above or swipe up from the bottom up.

Step 5 . Touch the Poll button - Poll .

Step 6 . Now, you need to write questions and customize the answers accordingly. Currently, each question has only 2 options to answer.

Use creative tools like color for text, brushes, shape alignment tools, text to help your poll look more beautiful and tidy.

When selecting colors for text or drawings, a small icon will appear on the left. You can use it to select colors from images or videos and apply it to text or drawings.

When moving text or stickers on photos or videos, you will see green lines that allow you to align questions and correct answers.

Step 7 . Click Next to continue, select Your Story at the top and click Send to post the visit due to comments.

Now, your friends and followers can vote by clicking on one of the two options you provided. They will also be able to see the results at that time.

When new people vote, they also see which options are leading.

How to view poll results on Instagram on iPhone and iPad

Step 1 . Open Instagram.

Step 2 . Click the profile icon in the top left corner.

Step 3 . Select the story you created the comment for   and swipe up to check the list of viewers.

Step 4 . Here you will see the number of votes for each option as well as the options that each person has chosen.
