Guide to converting PPT/PDF to video using HeyGen

In the digital age, converting PowerPoint presentations or PDF documents into professional videos is becoming a trend. With HeyGen, users can easily transform static slides into dynamic videos in just minutes, making content more engaging, visually appealing, and emotionally rich.

HeyGen supports AI avatars that provide natural-sounding presentations, intelligent multilingual voiceovers, modern transition effects, and seamless content synchronization with images and audio. Below are instructions for creating videos from PPT/PDF files.

How to create videos from PPT/PDF files on HeyGen

Step 1:

First, access the link below and register for a HeyGen account.

In the HeyGen interface, click on the Avatar option to use it, as shown in the image below.

Step 2:

At this point, the user selects PPT/PDF to video to convert the presentation file to video.

You can then upload your presentation video or PDF file to the HeyGen website.

Step 3:

After successfully uploading your document to HeyGen, on the new interface, click the plus sign next to Avatar to upload your avatar.

At this point, you will see many avatar characters to choose from for your presentation video. Click on the category tag to select the presentation character you want to use.

When you click on a character, you'll have options for scene or style for that character. Choose the presentation character you like best and click to use it.

Finally, click Create Video to start creating your presentation video.

Step 4:

At this point, you will see the interface for entering presentation content for each slide. You can upload a pre-existing audio file, or click Script Write to create AI-generated text.

Write your main content in the interface and then press Enter to generate the content.

The result is that you will see the presentation content in the AI-generated video as shown in the image. Click Accept to use this audio content.

You continue creating AI presentation content for other scenes in the video.

Step 5:

Look to the right and press Generate to start creating the video.

Finally, wait for the HeyGen presentation video creation process to complete. Note that the video must be under 1 minute for a free account, so please adjust the number of slides accordingly.
