Google released Chrome 25 Beta, supporting voice recognition
Shortly after the launch of Chrome 24, Google recently released a Beta version of Chrome 25 with voice recognition (similar to Google Now on Android) via the Web Speech API (application programming interface).
API Web Speech is a new JavaScript API, a tool that allows programmers to integrate voice recognition into their web applications."For users, in the near future they will be able to navigate their website, web applications with their voice" - Google representative said.
Besides, Chrome 25 will also add a search box (search box) when users open a new card with the ability to prevent automatic installation extensions on the browser. However, these two features will probably only appear in the stable version that will eventually come out in the near future. Users can download and experience this version of Chrome here. After downloading and installing Chrome 25 Beta, users can experience Chrome's voice recognition feature (in English) here.
