Google blacklisted some web browsers on Linux, blocking access to Google services
Google has issued a notice banning several popular Linux browsers, including Konqueror, Falkon and Qutebrowser, from signing in to Google services on the grounds that these browsers may be unsafe.
Mountain View didn't say when to start blocking the browsers, but one Konqueror user found out he couldn't log in to Google services on December 14, and posted information. This is on the Reddit forum. After that, many Reddit members conducted a test and confirmed that they could not log into Google accounts on Konqueror or Falkon platforms despite using many different devices. While trying to log in, they were asked by Google to try again in a different browser on the grounds that Konqueror or Falkon contained some security issues, as shown in the screenshot below:

The owners of the browser included in the list have yet to comment on Google's announcement.
