Dell 'betrayed' Microsoft, according to Google
Dell will introduce the first computer to run Chrome OS, Google's operating system and Microsoft's rival.
Since last year, a series of computer manufacturers no longer see Windows as their only choice. From HP, Acer, to Asus ., OEMs have come to Google Chrome OS as a test solution. Recently, Dell has just announced it is also about to join the production of laptops running Google's operating system, dubbed Dell Chromebook 11 . According to company statements, their Chromebooks are not geared towards low-budget general-purpose users, but are designed to fit the needs of students and school students.
" Chromebook 11 is designed with a reasonable price for schools across the country (USA)" - Dell said. It is not clear whether Dell will sell this product internationally. In addition, other information about the Chromebook has not been disclosed by Dell. Based on the name, we can guess this is an 11-inch laptop.
Dell said it will also introduce other Chromebook models next year for business users and general users.
