According to Neowin , as expected, the XPS 17 has a design that looks similar to the XPS 13 and XPS 15 models like the InfinityEdge display with a narrow edge for 16:10 aspect ratio. Inside, the machine comes with features like the 10th generation Intel Core CPU, with the top version using the Intel Core i9-10885H 8-core CPU. It can be equipped with 6 GB of GeForce GTX1650 Ti or RTX 2060 GPU.
Other maximum specs include 64GB RAM and 4K UHD + HDR display. Interestingly, according to the image, the device seems to contain 4 Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports around and completely ignores USB-A. In terms of storage capacity, the device can have up to 4 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The device is expected to weigh about 2.11 kg, making it one of the heaviest laptops on the market today. It has a 56 WHr or 97 WHr battery depending on the configuration.
Other leaked specs suggest that the XPS 15 9500 may also have top-end specs, including a Core i9-10885H CPU, a 4 GB GTX 1650 Ti GPU and up to 2 TB SSD. It can be powered by a 56 WHr battery or 86 WHr battery and weighs 1.81 kg. This version is expected to have 3 USB-C ports, with two of these being Thunderbolt 3 capable. Pricing details are not available for both devices.
