Dark Mode of iOS 13 helps to save outstanding battery
Apple has added to the iOS 13 update a very important feature, which is the Dark Mode that supports both 3rd party applications and some websites.
Recently, PhoneBuff conducted a test with Dark Mode of iOS 13 to confirm rumors that Dark Mode will help smartphones using OLED screens to save more battery. To perform this test, PhoneBuff uses a robotic arm on the iPhone Xs with a screen set to 200 nits of brightness.
Test results of PhoneBuff showed that the battery life of iPhone Xs with Dark Mode increased significantly compared to normal mode.
While the iPhone Xs in Dark Mode has about 30% battery left, the iPhone Xs in normal mode has run out of battery.
If the iPhone Xs screen is set to a higher or lower brightness, the tests will yield different results however, in all cases the battery life of the iPhone Xs in Dark Mode is exceeded. outgrow.

Dark Mode can help save more battery life on new smartphones using OLED screens such as iPhone X, iPhone Xs or iPhone 11 Pro, while on devices using traditional LCD screens, such as iPhone XR or iPhone 11 it probably won't.
