Bagle continues to 'terrorize' the Internet world
First discovered 3 years ago, but now Bagle still raging in the Internet world. There are many antivirus software completely helpless before this computer worm.
The latest report from security firm Commtouch Software said that each day its lab discovered about 625 new Bagle variants. Peak days can reach 1,000.
If calculated from the beginning of 2007, the number of Bagle variants has now reached 30,000.
According to Commtouch Software, the number of such large Bagle variants has made it difficult for traditional anti-virus software. Strictly speaking, these types of software are completely powerless to prevent such a powerful Bagle flood.
However, the security firm did not provide any evidence that anti-virus software is currently unable to prevent the Bagle transform worm.
Bagle is actually just a worm that sends spam. That is the reason why Bagle's "family" is getting bigger and bigger. This can be considered the most successful computer worm in the history of world security industry.
