The first AI chatbot for monitoring pet health has appeared.
Recently, Fi – a technology company specializing in pet devices – launched a new AI chatbot to help pet owners monitor their dogs' health more intelligently, based on personalized data combined with general breed information.
This tool, called Fi Intelligence , is integrated directly into the company's app. It can access all data related to pets, collected from devices within the Fi ecosystem such as the Fi Series 3 Plus and Fi Mini, as well as information and documents provided by pet owners. Currently, this service only supports dogs and is not yet available for other pets such as cats or rabbits.
If the user already owns a Fi smart necklace, their previous data will be fed into the system so that the chatbot can provide more accurate analysis and responses.

During development, Fi noticed that dog owners often have recurring questions such as: Is the dog getting enough exercise? Is the dog getting enough sleep? Is there any unusual scratching? This AI chatbot is designed to help answer those questions quickly and easily.
Fi Intelligence uses a combination of:
- General data by dog breed
- Personal information for each pet
- Biometric data collected from the smart necklace.
Users can ask questions in natural language (simple English) and receive detailed answers. The chatbot not only answers basic questions but can also compare current data with previous time periods and compare the pet's condition with other pets of the same species.

According to Fi, the highlight of Fi Intelligence lies in its proprietary dataset. This system is trained on a large database of real-world dog activity, sleep, and behavior , collected from users worldwide.
As a result, chatbots are able to provide analyses that are more accurate to reality than typical general-purpose AI.
Fi emphasizes that this chatbot is not intended to replace veterinarians . Instead, the goal is to help pet owners gain a clearer understanding of their pets' health status.
Specifically, the system will help users:

Darrell Stone said that feedback from the testing phase showed that users did not view the chatbot as a substitute for doctors, but rather as an assistant to help them better prepare before their appointments .
Integrating Fi Intelligence will provide the most comprehensive dog health profile ever on the company's app. This feature is now available to all Fi users.
