Adobe allows free AI image creation in PDF files
Accordingly, from June 18, users can create and edit images directly in PDF files using Acrobat with new features supported by Adobe Firefly - Apple's new generation AI image creation model. Adobe.
Image Editing feature with Firefly capabilities such as Generative Fill, Remove Background, Erase and Crop, etc. will allow users to improve existing images. Meanwhile, the Generate Image feature will take advantage of Firely to use the text the user has entered to create an image.
Adobe said that each month all individual Acrobat Standard and Pro users will receive 250 generative credits for a limited time for use with the Image Editing and Generate Image features.
Currently, Adobe Acrobat is also the first PDF solution to provide the ability to create images with AI right in the application, but this feature only supports English and is limited to computer users.
In addition, new features in Acrobat's AI Assistant also allow users to ask questions, get detailed information with quotes and create content from PDF, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and text files.
The assistant's meeting recording feature is also being upgraded by Adobe. The AI summary feature brings up key points and to-dos that members raised during the meeting.
Adobe also affirms that it 'does not train the company's new generation AI models on customer data' but only uses licensed content. Content created with Firefly-powered features will be moderated and Content Credentials automatically attached.
