47 malicious apps you should remove from your phone immediately

Recently, security researchers at Avast have discovered 47 malicious applications on Google Play, displaying ads rampant and making it difficult for users.

The fact that malicious applications appear on Google Play is not new, usually after receiving the report of the researchers, Google will immediately remove these applications, but they will still exist. on a user's phone if they have previously installed the application.

Accordingly, 47 malicious applications were discovered this time as part of the HiddenAds campaign (a type of malicious trojan that pretends to be normal applications, then displays ads to generate revenue for developers).

In a blog post, security researchers at Avast described how malicious apps work: When you install any of these apps, they will function correctly. until the timer completes, the malicious apps will automatically delete the desktop icon and start running in the background.

Starting at this time, every time you surf the web with a browser, you will constantly see annoying popup ads, covering the entire screen. Besides, the fact that these applications hide icons from the screen will make it more difficult for users to detect and uninstall.

After receiving Avast's report, Google removed the majority of applications from Google Play to protect users. Unfortunately, currently there are still about 20 applications that have not been removed.
