How to View Google Photos 2024 Recap

Google Photos 2024 Recap is gradually rolling out to all accounts. However, some advanced features, such as Gemini AI-powered captions, are only available to some users.

Tap Memories to access Google Photos 2024 Recap. Note that you must enable Face Grouping in the Google Photos app settings to use Recap.

After the announcement of Recap, the content displayed in the Memories list for the rest of December and January changed to a photo grid.

Along with memories, Google adds fun stats about your year in the same memories video.

1. Five Smiles: Total number of smiles recorded and who you smiled the most with.
2. Five Colors: The colors you capture the most.
3. Best Faces: The people you take pictures of the most.
4. Longest streak: Longest number of consecutive days of taking photos.
