Talking to VnExpress , Intel Vietnam's Distribution Channel Manager Pham An Duong said that computers manufactured in Vietnam have very low consumption volume in the market. Meanwhile, the demand for owning and using laptops is increasing.
This year, IDG estimates that computer manufacturers will sell nearly 200,000 laptops. Among them, manufactured goods in Vietnam may increase, accounting for 12-13% of consumption. But to increase sales, domestic manufacturers must have policies to improve product quality, brand and market orientation accordingly.
