Vertu 'invades' to produce high-end audio equipment
Cooperating with the famous audio equipment manufacturer Bang & Olufsen, Vertu has launched a high-end speaker model and wireless headphones.
Vertu, a high-end smartphone manufacturer, is known for its ultra-expensive handsets, made from the most advanced materials. However, recently, the British luxury brand has decided to "encroach" to a whole new field - producing high-end audio equipment, including headphones and wireless speakers.
Accordingly, Vertu's headset is designed to use only one lightweight aluminum plate, which is used in aircraft construction. The "technical" part of the headphones is high quality thanks to the adjustment and testing by the renowned audio equipment maker Bang & Olufsen. 2-ear ear cushions of the product are covered with British sheepskin, bringing maximum comfort for users.
The manufacturer said the headset will cost £ 490, or about VND 17 million.
Besides, Vertu also offers speakers with wireless technology with NFC (short range connection) and Bluetooth connectivity. The speakers are also made from an aluminum piece in the fuselage. In addition to metal details that protect the speaker membrane, the entire body is covered with luxurious calf leather.
These portable speakers are also fully integrated with function buttons that play music like other speaker models on the market. The price of this speaker is £ 400, equivalent to nearly VND 14 million.
