Bentley prepared a luxury Android phone
High-end phone company Vertu has announced cooperation with Bentley to produce Bentley-branded smartphones.
The partnership will last for 5 years. Vertu is currently not launching new products, but it has a platform to produce Android devices since 2013. Therefore, it is likely that at least one Android smartphone will be born in a deal with Bentley.
Vertu has just introduced its latest device, the Signature Touch which starts at £ 6,750 ( equivalent to VND 250 million ). The phone is equipped with 13MP camera of Hasselblad, Bang & Olufsen high-end speaker and 5.1-inch screen coated with 118 carat sapphire crystal.
Massimiliano Pogliani, Vertu 's CEO said: " This agreement will allow Vertu to be combined with the Bentley brand. The phones will be designed by both Vertu and Bentley. We believe new products will be collected. attracting more customers thanks to the sophistication and luxury with high precision processing technology ".
In addition to similar design lines with Bentley's supercars, new smartphones also enjoy exclusive service of the famous car company in the UK.Bentley Motors CEO Wolfgang Durheimer said: " Bentley's exclusive service will appeal to those who like to drive, customers who like traveling and brand enthusiasts ."
The first Bentley-built Vertu will be released in October this year. Then, 4 other luxury smartphones will also turn out in the near future.
