Users can use ChatGPT without an account
Previously, using ChatGPT, whether the free or paid version, required users to log in to their accounts, which made it difficult for many users. However, change has come.
OpenAI recently announced that users no longer need to register an account to use the service.
This announcement was announced through an official blog on OpenAI's website and then spread across various media channels. The content of the announcement states that ChatGPT users can now start using the service without having to register an account.
"Our core mission is to make tools like ChatGPT widely available so everyone can experience the benefits of AI. Starting today, you can use ChatGPT immediately without signing up We are rolling out this feature gradually, with the aim of making AI accessible to anyone curious about its capabilities," OpenAI's post reads.
In its blog post, OpenAI also emphasized the widespread popularity of ChatGPT, with more than 100 million weekly users around the world.
However, this only applies to the free version of ChatGPT-3.5. For more advanced versions like ChatGPT-4 and accompanying services like DALL-E, users still need to have an account and pay a monthly fee to use.
