Nimbus Data launches the world's largest capacity SSD 100TB, beating Samsung
Nimbus Data has just launched the ExaDrive DC100 SSD model with capacity up to 100TB, officially becoming the world's largest capacity SSD.
This record previously belonged to Samsung with the SSD model using 3D 3D V-NAND chips with a combined capacity of 512GB to achieve an impressive figure of 30TB, but also outperformed the ExaDrive DC100 SSD model of Nimbus Data.
DC100 uses 3D NAND flash technology. With a capacity of 100TB it can hold about 20 million songs (about 5MB each) or 20,000 HD movies. The DC100's write and read speed is 500MB / s and has an unlimited warranty for five years.
Nimbus Data plans to launch this SSD to the market this summer. Currently, this manufacturer is in the process of checking with some customers selected by these huge capacity SSD models that target only a group of customers such as businesses or server servers, but not must for ordinary users. Although there is no specific price yet, it will certainly be very expensive.
