Top 5 companies holding 70% of global laptop market share in 2006

Taiwanese laptop manufacturers have released a report saying that the world's top five laptop manufacturers today are Dell, HP, Acer, Toshiba and Lenovo will hold up to 70.5. % of world laptop market share in 2006 from 60.1% in 2005.

By 2007, these five giants will occupy up to 87% of the global market share of laptops with a total of 55 million units, while in 2004 only 29.45 million units.
