The world's first 'Miss AI' contest will be held in May
According to the New York Post, the world's first "Miss AI" contest will be held next May by Fanvue - a social media platform integrating AI technology. This is the first beauty contest in the world exclusively for contestants who are products of artificial intelligence.
According to Fanvue's announcement, contestants will be evaluated based on 3 categories including beauty, technology and their influence on the public.
The "Miss AI" contest is part of the World AI Innovators Awards (WAICA). The purpose of the award is to honor outstanding artificial intelligence content creators globally.
The judging panel includes Sally-Ann Fawcett - veteran judge of beauty contests and famous AI models such as supermodels Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini.
Aitana Lopez is a 25-year-old "virtual" model with pink hair, earning more than $11,000 per month thanks to attractive posts on her Instagram page with more than 306,000 fans.
And Pellegrini is a charming brown-haired model who also achieved revenue of 10,000 USD in just the first 6 weeks of launch. Pellegrini was created by Fanvue.
People participating in AI design must be 18 years of age or older. The winning AI beauty will receive a prize of $13,000, including a check for $5,000, a $3,000 scholarship, and $5,000 in public relations support. The first runner-up and second runner-up will also receive prizes worth 5,000 USD and 2,000 USD, respectively.
